It is illegal will get feds involved. However someone who is forced to use a gun in self defense is almost certainly within the law You cannot start a fight and claim self defence. But if you mind your own business and are attacked it’s different. I recommend anyone who could be attacked by that group keep witnesses nearby and/or record the video. There are video cameras that look like pens, friends can use a cell phone etc. I can’t imagine anyone so far left as to claim that walking in Waterloo is picking a fight with that group. However I am not a lawyer so my comments are not worth the electrons used to display them.I don’ t know what all of these comments about a weapon are about, but he did NOT carry a gun!! He needed the walker to steady himself! Everyone always has to say stupid things in comments. Why don’t we all get real about this! If you live around here, you would know that there is a group of "kids", that hang around that area and attack Cheap Michael Kors people! The real response to any of this should be, why is it that we know about them and the police do nothing about it!! This should NEVER have happened and ALOT of people are talking about it! If the cops are going to do nothing, we will!!!This is what concealed carry is for. An elderly man with a walker gets beaten to death. It doesn’t sop there either. As his daughter pointed out ""He passed away at the hands of somebody else. Who’s to say he (the assailant) won’t do this to somebody else," We have a responsibility to hand criminals over to police if we can. Or if necessary to defend our lives, shoot the scum. We owe it to future victims to stop the criminal if possible. Do remember, you can shoot someone ONLY to defend your life or the life of another. And only as long as they are a threat, when they drop you stop.
